SNV is a social enterprise committed to eliminating poverty and inequality in emerging markets worldwide.

Inclusive Business
Since 2006, SNV LA has focused its efforts on advancing Inclusive Business (www.inclusivebusiness.org), an entrepreneurial initiative which aims to contribute towards poverty alleviation by including low-income communities within the value chain, while not losing sight of the ultimate goal of business, namely generating profit.

 
Our Sectors
Increasing production, income and employment, while improving access to basic services is the two-fold core of SNV’s work on poverty reduction. For this purpose, a targeted strategy is drawn up in each country in which SNV operates, taking into account national-level Millenium Development Goal (MDG) priorities, as well as specific sub-national contexts.

SNV designs and implements projects, develops know-how, and adds value to clients in the following sectors: Agribusiness, tourism, forestry, renewable energy (including biofuels), low-cost housing, consumer products, vocational education, and financial services.
